The Boston market can look forward to better track, better service, and better rail capacity.

Pan Am Southern – Norfolk Southern’s initiative with Pan Am Railway – is creating an improved rail route between Boston and Albany, N.Y.

The related economic benefits are compelling. Plans call for a new automotive terminal in eastern Massachusetts and a new intermodal and automotive terminal in the Albany area.
